A favorite of all who dive here, Ledges of French Cap is a great site to check out the not-so-local aquatic life. With Lobsters, Nurse Sharks, Horse-eye Jacks, Schools of Creole Wrasse, Sailor’s Choice, Hinds, and striped grunts swimming about, you are sure to wish you had a camera! There is a local competition here at the shop to see who can take the best picture of a Black Durgon. Sounds easy right?? Hah! Turns out Durgons are a very cautious, mysterious and overly skittish fish here in the Virgin Islands. With French Cap being one of the only places to see them while here on the island, checking out the extensive undercuts and spiraling rock formations are not too bad either.
