    Divemaster

A PADI Divemaster serves many functions including assisting PADI instructors with courses, conducting PADI programs, and leading certified divers.  The process of becoming a PADI Divemaster is a transition from a recreational level diver to the ranks of the professional.  It takes dedication, professionalism and attention to detail.  You will go beyond your current undertanding of diving physics and physiology, explore the history and current state of equipment and technology, interact and assess the environment and become a master at dive planning and briefing.

We do not believe in rushing people through this most important step.  For that reason we do not offer interships or guaranteed time frames.  We will work with you to make sure that you feel comfortable with each section of the course and that by the time you've completed your course you feel like the PADI professional that you've become.

Requirements: Basic Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, current CPR/First Aid, medical clearance from a doctor (PADI Medical Questionnaire , other courses only require a clearance with 'YES' answers only, but to complete PADI Divemaster, a physician must sign the medical), particpants must be 18 years of age or older, have 20 dives to start and 60 dives to finish, participants also must own all their own scuba gear with the exception of tanks and weights.

Course materials are NOT included in the course fees.  If you will need to get a Divemaster Crew Pack, please contact us as soon as possible.

Now available through E-Learning is the Dive Theory portion of the divemaster class.  PADI Dive Theory Online content is broken down into 6 easy-to-learn sections, covering Physics, Physiology, Equipment, The Recreational Dive Planner, The Diving Environment and Dive Skills. The course fee for PADI Dive Theory Online is $100 payable to PADI.
